Don has been in the real estate industry since the tender age of 21. Coming from a logistic business background, Don’s grandfather is the co-founder of SGX listed Poh Tiong Choon Logistic, but he decided to venture into the world of hard knocks namely business brokerage and real estate consultancy.
Over time, his astute eye for business and investment opportunities enabled him to build up a strong clientele base that to this day counts him as a personal friend. Don strongly believes in building a relationship, a pipeline that will enable him to build a vast network that will benefit all his clients in the long run.
Integrity is of paramount importance for Don when handling his various business deals, hence clients can be assured of top-notch service. He has also invested in property both locally and overseas and is always on the lookout for various business opportunities.

Linus is a Corporate Partner of the Firm in the Corporate and Commercial Practice. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and governance, regulatory compliance, employment, immigration, dispute resolutions and arbitration (local and international).
His experience include:
- Advised on transactions in relation to assets and projects financing (involving local and cross-border bilateral, syndicated and mezzanine loan transactions) in excess of transactional aggregate of USD 7.1 billion. Some of these transactions include Public Private Partnership infrastructure projects and real estate development projects in the ASEAN countries.
- Assisted local companies in their fund raising exercises through private placements and public issues.
- Acted for and advised corporations and the local branches and/or subsidiaries of multi-national companies on the commercial and legal implications in regards to corporate governance and compliance.
- Acted for and advised individuals and corporations (local and foreign) in mediations, judicial and arbitration proceedings to address their dispute resolution needs in Singapore and in the region.
In addition to his debt financing expertise, Linus also advises on the various aspects of equity financing in the capital markets including reverse takeovers of listed companies in the local stock exchange, convertible bonds and notes issues, private equity and fund management advisory work.
Linus sits on the board of directors of both listed and private companies and renders support and corporate advisory work in relation to compliance matters with the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, Singapore Companies Act, the Code of Corporate Governance and the relevant rules and regulations. His clients come from a broad range of industries such as shipping, retail, information technology, education, logistics, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, pharmaceutical and service industries, in Singapore and in Asia.
For cross-border transactions, Linus is actively involved in advisory work in connection with on-shore and off-shore investments by Singapore and foreign corporations in emerging economies in the ASEAN region, and was invited to conduct talks and seminar in international conferences on these subjects, including as a guest speaker at the China ASEAN EXPO 2017 held in Nanning, China.
Linus has also regularly spoken on subjects involving the Singapore Companies Act, Employment Act, Personal Data Protect Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing to trade associations/organisations like the Singapore Business Federation and the Singapore Shipping Association and to their members.
Linus graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) degree, and is qualified as a Barrister from Middle Temple, UK. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1998 and is also a Notary Public in Singapore. Linus is an active grassroots leader and he is a member of the Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) Central Committee and the Chairman of its Education Committee.
